four men, found dead in an iso
lated cabin near Desert City.
Angry ranchers threatened to
lynch Jones but the crowd was
Aspersed when Sheriff Charles
Harper put in a call for tear gas
bombs and reinforcements. Three
of the slain men were prominent
ranchers in the vicinity.
