States senator.
Rudder is a union labor leader
in Clackumas county and president
of the Workers Alliance there.
Congressional candidates nomi
nated from the three districts In
the slate were: Mrs. Mary H. Jack
son, of Eugene, from the first dis
trict, western Oregon; Mrs. Minnie
McFarland of I'umtilla from the
second district, eastern Oregon;
and R. D. Snyder of Portland from
the third district, Mtillnomah
county.
Don Swetlund of Portland was
nominated for statu treasurer and
J. E. Hosnier, Silvertou attorney,
was nominated for attorney gen
eral alter Roy R. Hewitt of Salem
declined tho nomination. Hewitt
