count of poor health. The Jones
district by good business methods,
has greatly reduced the debt In
curred when their schoolhouse was
built about 10 years ugo. The Ce-1
dar Grove district re-elected Mrs. J
Ferry Kdwards for director for
three years, and Perry Kdwards,
clerk. The Buck Fork school el
ected two directors, V. C. Uunnn-
vln, three yearn; flam Carson, two
years; Mrs. Alta Conley, clerk. A
tax of 220 was voted for school
maintenance.
On South Myrlle C. M. Potter
was re-elected director for three
years and I'rerl 1'otler re-elected
clerk. Transportation of pupils
from west end of the district was
voted and a three-mill tax for ex
penses. This district is out of
debt.
M. Sharp, who arrived recently
from Palo Cfdro, Calif., is settled
