one o'clock bridge luncheon given

Friday evening was the opening
night for our monthly birthday
parties. These parties will bo
sponsored each month for the men
having birthdays in that particular
month by the state department of
Hie American legion auxiliary.
The biggct thrill of all seemed to
be that the party was held in the
new recreational building and the
birthday men were Hie envy of all
others. The game of beano was
Played throughout the evening,
with cigareium being awarded as
pilzes. A very happy evening was
brought to a close with the serving
of ice cream and Individual birth
day cakes, a lighted candle being
placed ou each CHke.
