their golden wedding anniversary

bride.' About 300 guests were pres
ent at the celebration which was
held lu the grove near the house,

mates by ,the bureau of agricul
tural economics, United States de
partment of agriculture.
Inasmuch as imports and exports
of ice cream are negligible, all of
the production is assumed to have
been consumed. On this basis, the
consumption per person last year
was 3 gallons. Ten years ago the
per capita consumption was a lit
tie more than 2 gallons.
Greatest Increases in production

AEROPLANES USE
REEDSPORT FIELD
REEDSPORT, Aug. 29. The An
derson Flying service of Marsh
field has 2 planes here now, one
having alighted on Cannery is
land Monday, and the other on the
firemen's emergency field Tuesday
afternoon. Both are 2-seater Eagle
rock machines, and possibly will
be here several days as the east
side field at Marshfield is being
filled and cannot now be used.
' The driver who lauded on the
emergency field said he had no
difficulty and that the field is
fine. He did not use half the run
way in making his landing. The
firemen are now working on the
crosswise field which will be 1200
feet long, and as soon as possible
will begin leveling the adjacent
field to form a runway both for
landing and for taking off.
