The last main unit, the jail structure, is now in process of construction and the forms will probably be com pleted next week. The jail floor has already been ponred. and more than half of the roof and all of the cornice is finished. The steel for the jail windows and doors is on hand and is being placed Into the forms so that when the concrete is poured the structure will be one solid sysleni of reinforced on erfe and steel. The roof of the jail will alo be of poured concrete, securely tied In with the nails, so that when the roof of the jail Is finished the entire building will b under cover. With continued good weather the work will probably be completed within a couple of 1 weeks. The timbers, braces and forms have been removed from the in terior of the basement and ground floors so that workmen are now engaged in putting in the metal lath. The finishing work will pro gress rapidly, as plaster and steel will be used throughout, there be ing no woodwork in any part of the structure.
