' : . : I f t , ( i t . f " ' : i . 1 1 1 ' , .1 I jO,- ,s .-, Green Feed and Cod Liver Oil . Two very necessary ingredients in the ration for winter layers are new incorporated in the formula used in making UMPQUA EGG MASH. This new laying mash fills a long felt need among poultrymen fcr winter feeding. Green feed i? shorter this year than for a good many seasons, supplying this need the finest grade of alfalfa leaf meal is used. Cod liver oil has long been recognized by colleges and leading poultrymen all over the country as a great help to poultry during the fall and winter months. The use of Coliverol in this mash in sures retaining all the vitamines of cod liver oil, longer than the use of pure cod liver oil itself. Coliverol, is not cod liver meal, but cod liver oil in powder form, it does not sour, it never gets rancid and it retains its food value longer than pure oil. It has been in use in the east for several seasons and what it has done the re it will do here. The cost of this feed is slightly more than our standard Ump qua Egg mash, but the value is there, it will get the best production cut of your birds and at the same time bring them through the laying season in the best of health. , For the poultrymen who has his own green feed we will always have on hand our regular Umpqua Egg Mash, made in the same way as always.
