SULTS IN TIE SCORE
A hard fought game of football
was played last night between
teams representing th junior
class of the senior high school and
the freshman clas, which Is the
dth grade class at the Junior high
school. The score was 0 to 0. This
was the first of the inter-class con
tests which will bo played thU
week between the several class
teams as Introductory to the foot
ball season.
As football practice has been In
progress only for one week the
players made many glaring errors,
but there were a few Instances
where both teams showed roal
ability. Moth teams possessed a
strong defense, but were lacking In
offence. The game was quite, clean
and hard fought, although It was
quite slow, due largely to the in
experience of ihe players on Itolh
stdes. Uoth goals were threatened

high team had to punt out from
behind their own goal line, but
