car was said to have started while

Jennings Bryan would make Ne
braska safe for Herbert Hoovor."
Mr. McKelvie said Bryan cam
palgned in Nebraska for a third of
a century against the "Tammany
tiger and liquor." "The . Bryan

McKelvie added, "would never vote
for Al Smith who is a canrildnte of
one and a champion of the other.
Nebraska is a dry state and has
been educated against Tammany. It
