CONCLAVE IN DETROIT
DETROIT, July 16. The StOth
anniversary ot the founding of the
order of Knights Templar on the
site of the temple of Solomon in
the city of Jerusalem was observ
ed here today as the thirty seventh
triennial conclave ot the grand
commandery of Knights Templar
of the United States got under
way.
The city was given a medieval
touch as thousands of white plum
ed knights in the armor ot that
thronged down-town streets, which
were lined with statues of mount-
e dknights in the armor of that
period. .
