on a charge of felonious asBault
after shooting nnd seriously wound
ing her estranged husband, Dallett
Wilson, New York attorney.
Mrs. Wilson, Immediately after

called at her husband's office to de
mand a settlement of their marital
difficulties.
"I wanted either to live together
or be divorced," she said. "I offer
ed to let him get the divorce, hut

worship for so many years.
The Bible school is making a de
termined effort for a large atten
dance and is putting on a "adto
program." Appropriate services will
be held morning and evening.
The church is arranging for a
big day on Easter, and on the fol
lowing Sunday, April 15, will start
a pre-dedicatlon evangelistic cam
paign. Charles Reign Scovllle, one
of the country's greatest evangel
ists, a mun who ranks with Billy
Sunday and men of that standing
In religious circles, haB, through
fortuuate circumstances, been se
cured for a short meeting here,
starting April 25.
Rev. Scovillo is now engaged in
a meeting at Klamath Falls, but
leaves ill a few days for a religious
conference at Cincinnati. During
his absence his evangelistic party,
which consists of a group of spe
cialists in that type of endeavor,
will come to Roseburg and will as
sist the lecal congregation in its
campaign. Services will be held
starting April 15, with Rev. W.. R.
Baird, pastor of the church, as the
preacher. J
Rev. Scovllle will arrive in Rose
burg on the 26th and will be in the
city for ten days or two weeks and
on April 29 will conduct the dedi
cation of the new building. -.
Rev. Scovllle Is usually engaged
hi union evangelistic efforts and
has conducted campaigns In prin
cipal cities all over tho world. In
this instance, however, he is inter
ested in the work of the local
church and is coming to. Roseburg
to aid in the dedication. His party
will be one of the largest and most
outstanding group of . religious
workers ever to visit this city. .'
