The senior class ulav. "The
I.tou and the Mouse," a 4-uct
comedy -draiiiu Is lo bo pieseuted
i'Ylday niht, March 30, at the
senior high school. The play is an
extremely heavy one for high
school actors, but because of the
outslaudfug ability of Borne of ,he
young actors the class has this
year chosen a play that Is above
the average in dramatic requite
nients.
The play was written by Charles
Klein, author of "The Music Mas
ter." The plot deals with the ef
forts of political luad ers to smirch
the reputation of a leading judge,
and the means by which these ef
forts were foiled. A delightful ro
manco Is woven through the poli
tical intrigue, while much comedy
Is Intoi'ipcr.Hfd with heavy druma
and pathos. The plot is one with
sustained Interest throughout and
a strong climax uud unexpected
ending.
The members of the cast have
been working diligently In their
respective parts and the difficult
character portrayals are being
handled in an excellent muuucr by
the various actors lit the regular
rehearsals.
