It is apparent that the crop was ovr estimated when the early predlc tion of 600 carloads wax ait nounced, and It is now believed that there will not be as much as 4U0 carloads. Today's shipments are expected to bring the total of carlot move ment to date up to 235. The ship ments at present are running about ten to twelve cars daily, with a downward tendency noted during the past few dayB. Brickley, captain of the Harvard football team of 1914 and one of the greatest drop kickers ever in i the game, today was at liborty in 1 $20,000 bail ponding an appeal for; a sentence of 15 mouths in diaries street jail for conducting a bucket shop and larceny from clients. Brickley was sentenced late yes terrinv afternoon in the Suffolk su perior criminal court by Justice ' Patrick Keating', himselr a Har vard graduate, after Brickley's counsel, William H. Lewis, all American and Harvard center of 20 years ago, had made a stirring plea lor leniency.
