search of their cabin last Thurs
day by Ihe officers revealed 25
dried and fresh beaver skins, alt
of which, including the six taken
yesterday, have been confiscated.
In, addition to. the confiscation of
ihe skins, which were valued at
approximately 9600,. two six-shooters
and one rifle were also confis
cated. The two deputy game war
dens had spent four days in the
j apprehension of the brothers, who
f aro believed to have been trapping
beavers in the Crater National for
est for some time. The officers
were, forced to work in snow over
three and onc-haif feet deep in
gathering evidenes and in making
the arrests.
