Car Recovered The Ford car Btolcn about three' weeks ago from T. W. Delaney of this city has been recovered at Crescent City, Cnlifornlu, according I to word received here today. The car was nhanuoneu just outside the city. Mr. Delaney will leave to morrow to bring the machine back to this city. Met With Research Committee Mrs. Rulh Conkey met with her committee of resenrch for the Ore gon State Toachors' association March 10, at Ashland, in the South ern Oregon Normal School build ing. The committee adjourned to meet In August. MRS;C;BUSE!AI DIES SUDDENLY AT Resident of County for 19 , Years, D. A. R, Member and Active Worker xin Grange. Mrs. Carrlo Busenbark, wife ot John Busenbark, Sr., of Melrose, and a well - known resident ot Douglas county, pafised away early his' morning nt the family home. Death came very suddt.nly, Mrs. Buaenbark awakening . and ' com plaining of feeling choked, otter which she died very quickly. Her death comeH as a HliocU to her many friends In Hoseburg and the county. She was born In Henry county, Illinois, in lSfiG and spent her girlhood there, in 1876 she wns married to Mr. Busenbark and shortly afterward the couple moved to Kansas, where they re elded for a lime. They came to Or?on In November of 1909 and settled nt Melrose, where they purchased a large amount of property and Mr. Bu Ben bark bo came engaged In ranching. Mrs. Busenbark was a woman of sterling character tnd one whoso sweet personality and kindness won her mnny friends." She was a member of Umpqun Chapter of the D. A. H., and the Melrose grange, In which work she was closely lu touch and an activo worker. Besides her husband she is sur vived by five children who are Royce A., David N., Tense B., John Jr., and Kntheryne Busen bark, all making their home In Melrose. One child died in in7ancy. Mrs. Busenhark's brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Hoyce Allen, of, Salem, came1 here two days ago on their way to California, and were here at the time of her death. TwU sisters, Mrs. J. It. Topping of tin lem and Mrs. C. B. Cornwell of Bottineau. North Dakota, and tea grandchildren also survive. The body has been removed to the parlors of the Koseburcr Un dertaking company and funeinl services will be held Sefiday af ternoon at o'clock In the chapel, M. E. Bitter in charge. The body will be shipped to Portland for cremation.
