tions includes housing and employ
ment problems. ' as well as organ
ized Christian life on the campus.
Open forums are conducted under
leadership of such men as Dr.- J.
Stitt Wilson, Dr. Norman F. Cole
man, Dr. Harold Leonard Bowman
and actual Bible-study is promoted
in houses, halls and Independent
groups. Twenty groups were con
ducted last year. ' ';

Heppner, has bough the Bennett
grocery located ui' the Creason
building, North Roseburg, aud will
hereafter conduct the business. Mr.
Bennett Is still In the city but has
not decided upon his future activi
ties as yet. Mr. Bergstrom has
been engaged In wheat farming in
the eastern Oregon country for a
good many years, but on visiting
Roseburg formed a liking for the
city and decided to locate here, so
after looking over the field deter
mined to go into the grocery busi
ness. The new owner of the store
is an aggressive young business
man and will fit well into Rose
burg's business life.
