of commerce on a farm census of

The census also shows that the

ers increased from 311,803 In 1920
to 1&.SS4 ln 1115. Compared with
Uils Increase there was a decrease
in the number of farms operated by
tenants, the figures being D427 In
1920 and D406 in 1925.
The acreage of ftvfms In the state
aggregating 14.120.o4S In 1025, com
pared with 13,542,318 in 1U20.
Farm values hi 1925 aggregated
$617,174,216 In 192i, compared
with 16701384 ln 1920.
The average value per acre In
1925 was S43.71, compared with
