the Community Chest are asked

time after midnight Saturday

broken, and also locks on several
adjoining garages were demolish
ed. The thieves evidently at
tempted to steal the O. C. Locke
car, but apparently rould not get
it started. It was backed part
way out of tho garage.

Council of said City will, at ita
regular meeting to be held in the
Council Chamber in said City, at
7:30 o clock P. M., November 16th.
1925, consider the adoption of an
Ordinance for the purpose of levy
ing a general city tax in accord
ance with Chapter 118 of the Laws
of Oregon for 1921 and at that time
all legal votors and taxpayers In
terested will be given an oppor
tunity to be heard upon the budget
