There will be a Fathers' and
Rons' service held at the Green
schoolhouse on Suiday afternoon,

church will deliver the address.

The pears are a second crop, mm
ing to maturity after the first j
croo had grown. They are larce

Mr. Ewens estimates thst there
are possibly two tons of second
growth fruit on his orchard traet.
Miss Velma Ooff. of the Term

main here until Saturday, but has
not decided what her future plana

Discharged From Hospital
Lee Kngles, who has been con
fined to Mercy Hospital for the
past three weeks with a broken
leg. has recovered sufficiently to
be allowed to return to his home.

the new district superintendent of
the southern district of the Oregon
conference of the M. E. church,
held the first quarterly cohfefnee
of Rosehurg last night. This waa

superintendent. He left this morn
ing for Medford where he will hold
a quarterly conference tonight.
