Starting near the stove in the living room ,the fire burned upward through the celling ana took off the upper part of the frame auuclure. .The blaze was quickly extinguished upon the ar rival of the fire department, the damage being confined largely to the roof, although the lower part of the dwelling waa considerably damaged by water.
