care of the new baby, in the same
way.
Many expressions of appreciation ;
have been received from women
who received these letters and ;
from their doctors. It does not
seem to be generally known, how
ever, that the letters are available.

Walter Norman, a former resi
dent of Itoseburg, whose death oc
curred Wednesday at Santa Mon
ica, California, was born in Aurora,
Missouri. September 12, 1S77, and
came with his parents, . Mr. and
Mrs. 1. G. Kelly to The Dalles In
1XS1. He was married to Miss
Grace E. Kelly In JS95, and. two
children were born to them. In
1X3S they moved to Itoseburg,
where he was associated witU.ljis

bakery business. In 1909 ho and
his father bought a ranch on !lk
Creek. In 1919 they moved to Til
ler, where he was interested in the
grocery business for some time.
The last two yenrs the family has
been residing at Santa Monica.
He leaves a wife and one son,
Robert J. Norman, his father and
mother, two brotners. Will of Myr
tle Point and George of Mllo, and
one sister, Mrs. K. M. Renfro, of
Marshfleld, also three grand child
ren, George, Max and Jeanne Nor
man of Dunsmulr, Calif.
He is a member of the Odd Fel
lows lodge of Roseburg. The de
