ECONOMY isn't the only reason
why housewives take such a
natural pride in their electric
ranges. ,
It's one of the practical reasons, of course
like the quick, clean, electrical heat, the
freedom from fuel and ashes, the better
roasts and baking.
But after all, these might be a man's rea
sons for equipping his home with an elec
tric range. Woman's reasons go deeper. If
you wish to see what every woman thinks
of clean, convenient, efficient electrical
appliances throughout the home, notice
the pride with which she says, "MY elec
tric range."
There is now an electric range in
one out of every' seven houses on the
COPCO system.
Select one for your home from the mod
els on display at your nearest dealer's. Con
venient payments may be easily arranged.

have since been found. It is
thought by members of the society
that the reservoirs were used for
irrigation purposes.
Claims that the reservoirs result
ed from glacial action have been
denied by the Cosmographic So
ciety, which points out that no
trick of a glacier could construct
six perfectly symmetrical masonry
formations.
In a limestone cave in the moun
t;iinrii:le above the reservoirs mem
bers of the Smithsonian Institution
found several crmle implements
and "weapons, among which were
several "arrow sprinns," a little
wooden rod with one end bent into
a hook. The arrow was placed in
to the crook and the rod sprung
iit'irr the fashion of the catapult.
The "arrow spring' is considered
to have preceded the bow by sev
eral hundred years.

There is no secret about
what constitutes a good

Union Gasoline is non
detonating. Its power
impulses are not those of
a sledge hammer. Its ex

resulting power that is
smooth.
With Union, your
motor starts quickly ac
celerates with a swift, vi
brationlcss pick-up and
easily attains an even, glid
ing speed.
You will find, as a result,
that your motor will yield
more miles, at less upkeep
cost, with Union Gasoline.
If it were possible to
make a better gasoline,
that gasoline would.be
found where you see the
