the Oregon State Motor association,
speaking at the rrnf rence said:
"The Oregon Stale Motor asso
ciation was organized to secure
law enforcement. It la unalterably
opposed to speed traps. No speed
trap evidence Is admitted In courts

"We are Hfter the driver who
dodges through traffic and doesn't
keep his side of the road. We are
not seeking that man who. though
he may exceed the legal limit
somewhat, drives his car on his
side of the road on straightaways.
'"You cannot get too harsh for us
with the drunken driver. He is a
menace to the road. Our organi
zation secured a law nt the recent
legislative session for . handling
