in marriage at a double ceremony I

The wedding party formed in the
beautiful living room under an
archway of flowers and ferns. A
the Lohengrin wedding march was
played by Mrs. W. K. Halle of ;
Reedley. Little Miss June Vorhees
gowned In a dainty frock of pink ,
crepe de chine, led the bridal party, j
bearing both rings on a satin pll-j
low. The bridesmaids, Miss Kffle
Coward of Tulare and Miss Gladys
Hall of Keedley followed attired in
pastel colored froths of crepe de ,
chine. They carried arm bouquets
of carnations and fern, liryson Vor
hees and Omer Hall acted as best
men. Miss Strong wss escorted to
her place by her brother. Homer i
Strong while Miss Vorhees appear
ed leaning on the arm of her fulh-i
er, O. Vorhees. f
Both brides, who are childhood '
friends, were beautifully guwned In i
dresses of lace over slips of poudre
blue crepe anil wore veils held in
place wJlh wreaths of orange blos
soms. Kach carried a beautiful
shower bouquet of brides' roses,
gladiollas, carnations and maiden
bair fern. I
The wedding vows were taken at 1
high noon with th Hev. Harry
Tutlle of the Klrst Christian church
of this city reading the ceremony.
The ring ceremony was used. Ho
mer Strong giving away hi: sister
Eula, and U. Vorhees giving his
daughter Kuby, In marriage.
Immediately following the cere
rnlmy Mrs. Morell served a bridal
parly and guests with a delicious
five-course luncheon.
The two newly married couples
left shortly afterwards for Yoie
mlte Valley where they will enjoy
a two weeks' honeymoon. Mrs. !

provided music for the evening

Later a large bonfire was built
