Although the high eat June temperature ever record ed by the local observatory was chalked up on the 4th, the aver age for the month waa 63.8 degrees, aa compared with normal ot 62.5. The highest point reached was 106 degrees, whllo the lowest was 40 degrees on the 3rd. All rainfall occurred during the flrat eight days ot the month, after which there was not even a trace of pre cipitation. The total rainfall was .oil of an Inch, as compared with a normal of 1.07 Inches. From Sep.
