ty to Animals has decided to erect
a war memorial to animals at Hyde
Park Corner, and has commission
ed a sculptor to undertake the
work. A wounded horse and a dog
figure In the group, which will
stand on a granite basetoloog which
will run a frieze representing the
animals which helped In the war.

to Fascism, have initiated a novel
method of serving their readers
with news and opinions criticizing
the government
Each time an editor of an oppo
sition newspaper is suppressed by
the censors, . a subsequent edition
prints a modest item setting forth
the title of the article which caus
ed the suppression. But each title
Is significant enough to explain
the context of the offending ar
ticle. For example, the "Mondo" says,
"Our second edition was suppress
ed because of an article entitled
'Responsibility, commenting on a
similar article In the "Fopblo
d'ltslia." Our third edition was
suppressed because of a comment
on the reply of Minister Rocco on
the interrogation of the Faclst

transfer ol certain Milanese-magistrates."
