Oregon development campaign.

The County Agent's office ad
vises that there will be a clothing
school held at the Orange Hall at
(ireens on June 3. 4 and 5. The
first two days will be all-day
jschools beginuing at Hi: 30 In the
morning, the school to be held on
June 5th will be an afternoon
school only beginning at 1:0.
These schools will be conducted by
1 Miss Esther D. Cooley, Assistant
in Clothing, from the Extension Ie
partment of the Agricultural Col
lege. The subjects which will be dis
cussed at these meetings will be
! color, line and dretts design. It w ill
not be necessary for the women to
furnish any sewing material at
this time. They are, however, re
quested to bring with them any ar
ticles of wearing apparel such us
hats, suits and dresses which they
seem to think are unbecoming in
any way, these points can be dis
cussed and alterations suggested.
Also, any materials which are to
be made up into garments 1n the
future may be brought and the de
signs can b worked out to suit
the wearer. The program for these
meetings is developed along prin
ciples of color and line selection
and the adaptation to individuals
of the group attending.
These meetings have been ar
ranged through the office of the
County Agent for the benefit of
the women of the Greens. Itrock
way, Happy Valley. Winston, Glen
gary. Melrose and Edenbower com
munities, and the women are all
Invited to attend as many of the
meetings as possible and take
part in the discussions.
