CHEYENNE, Wyo., Mar. 27.
Possession of Teapot Pome hinged
on legal points today and rested In
the discretion of Federal Judge T.
Ulake Kennedy before whom the
leaae annullment suit of the gov
ernment against the Harry F. Sin
clair's Mammoth Oil company was
completed here yesterday.
The decision of Judge Kennedy
will determine whether Sinclair
obtained the lease on the Wyoming
naval oil reserve as a result of
conspiracy and fraud, as the gov
eminent allege, or whether the
Mammoth Oil company obtained
the grant because it submitted the
beat bid and because the govern
ment was forced by an act of con
gress to develop the oil field, as
the defense contended.
At least thirty days will elapse
before Judge Kennedy will have
all' documents of the case lu his
hands and until then he probably
will-not make a decision.
This la the result of an agree
ment between couuAel yesterday
under which the government Js
given 15 days in which to file a
briuf of the case, and the defense a
similar length of time in which to
reply to the plaintiff's brief.

SECOND HILL CLIMB
The Star car driven by Louis
