Johannes risked his own life
when the latter fell off the edge
of a 40-foot cliff near his home.
While Vivian clung desperately to
a shrub, Johannes gripped a
branch of a tree, reached over
the edire of the precipice, seized
his playmate and a! in on by su
perhuman effort dragged him to
safety.
The award came from national
headquarters of the Boy Scouts
of Amenta in New York and is
the highest honor that can come
to a scout.

was the first game of the season
and we expect better results next
