The Klrls' declamatory contest
held Id the high school yesterday
resulted In a victory for the sop
homores, with the seniors taking
second place. Juniors third and
freshmen fourth. Miss Jean Mad-
dox represented the sophomores,
Elva Westcott the seniors, Doreen
Hutching the Juniors and Evelyn
Walford the freshmen. This con
test was a part of tho Inter-class
contests In which tho seniors now
stand first with 2IJ points, the
