Stmift e Company Produc
Every-Day Service
Butter, eggs, and poultry are
every-day items of household pur
chase. Their story is more than
"every-day."
Swift & Company's 1925 Year
Book, which has just been issued,
tells about, our produce plants
located in tho best farming commu
nities, how we buy cream and pro
duce the best grade of butter, which '
goes under the Brookfield Brand.
It tells how, in order that nothing
"may be lost, we us9 the buttermilk .
mixed with grain to feed chickens
so that they are" good enough to
carry our famous Premium Milk
Fed Chicken and Golden -West
Fatted Fowl brands. Eggs also are
purchased, carefully candled and
graded and the best marketed as
Brookfield.
The growth of the produce busi
ness from a haphazard, itinerant
occupation and its development into
a scientific industry are fascinating..
The story will be found on page 39
of the Year Book. There are many
other interesting stories, also.
