most of the courses in the north
west. The golfers will have its four

fessionals. This quartette will
lead the charge on the various
links, while 300 othor wieldcrs
of the mashie will furnish a bar
rage ot golf balls that ought to
smother any active opposition.
The golf excursion, which is the
first in the North country and for
a summer outing will resemble
the onset against the gulf coast
in winter is to travel In fact much
like an army in two trains, which
will furnish living quarters dur
ing the Incursion of the Canadian
northwest. The golf army is re
cruiting from cities around the
Great Lakes. There will be two
carloads from Detroit; three from
Cleveland, one each from such
places as Toledo, Milwaukee and
