was employed as a cook at the

The two were employed at

told Sheriff Starmer. They ad
mitted robbing the Lovelace store
' oodiucn of America, ami has
number of friends in. the county,
v. ho mourn his death. He was
born and reared in Iowa and was
of sterling character. Surviving
are a wife jind three children,
Jean, aged 5, and I'aulina anil 1'aul
aged 2 years, all of Long lieach,
and bis mother, Mrs. M, J. Houek,
of 737 West I.ane Street of this
city. The funeral will bo held at
the Roseburg Undertaking 1'arlors
tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
