Fred Sexton and Charles Thack
er. were called this morning and
testified that they heard loud
voices In the street. They were
sleeping in one of the west rooms
of the hotel and could look out up
on the alley intersection where
the shooting occurred. Kirk was
talking loud and cursing, they
stated, before the shooting.
