hay. Those who attend are earnest

Corners costume, namely ginghams

The legion auxiliary will dispense

up" In the regulation costume for
this event.
A meeting of the executive com
mittee has been called for this eve
ning lo meet in Commander
Stewart's office r'ld at that time
final arrangements will be made.
A hayseed band' will parade the
streets Wednesday evening as a pre
lude to "the big show."

tives. Following the ceremony Mr.
and Mrs. Taylor motored to Myrtle
Creek where they were the guests
at a wedding dinner at the home of
Dr. and Mra. A. J. Henry. They will
make their home in Hoseburg where
they have many friends.

He devoted the greater portion of
his life in the pursuit of agriculture
being the owner of a fine farm on
Little River. He moved to Rose
burg a number of years ago and
made his home here until poor
health and od age resulted in his
taking up his residence with his
daughter. He served in the V. 8.
army during the Indian wars and
made a good record as a soldier. '
He leaves a widow and five children
