five o'clock luncheon. The guests
enjoyed sewing during the after
noon. The color scheme of yellow and
white, was carried out In the house
and table decorations. Dainty place
cards, with nosegays of yellow daf
fodils and narcissus were lo'd nt
each cover. A huge center piece of
yellow and white cut flowers with
fern adorned the center of the table.
The hostesses servefl a delicious
four course luncheon at five o'clock.
This was the first of a series of af
ternoon parties to be given by Mrs.
Bates and Mrs. Dillard.
