Football Game
Armistice Day
A football 'game between the
Roseburg high school and some out
side high school team will be one of
the main features of the Armistice
Day celebration. Principal Arthur
S. Taylor stated today that the team
Is arranging for a game for that day
and will bring In a strong. aggrega
tion to furnish sport for the after
noon. Arrangements will probably
be made with either Cottage Grove
or Grants Pass, although the chal
lenge offered these teams has not yet
I been accepted. If the game cannot
' be arranged between these schools
an effort will be made to locate an-
otner eleven 10 piay upon mai oate.
The local high school team is play
ing In fine shape. The boys are be
ing given actual scrimmage and are
making excellent progress. On Sat
urday they will play against a picked
team of experienced men and will be
given a chance to show their mettle.
