M. Daugherty to be attorney-general,
it was officially announced today.
Harry Daugherty resides in Colum
bus, Ohio, and his occupation isjaw-
yer. He 1. 61 year, of age and has a
university education. He practiced
law at Washington courthouse from
1881 to 1888. He was elected to the
state legislature in 1888, serving Ave
year. In 1912 he waa chairman of
the state republican executive com
mittee and was also twice chairman
of the atate republican central com
mittee of Ohio. He waa the cam
paign manager for Harding at the
Chicago convention.
