He becomes a policeman, brings his former accomplices in crime to justice and wins the love ot a pretty girl. The story Is ex ceedingly dramatic and the theme appealing, so that there is not a dull momert throughout the development ot the story. One ot tne best fights in which Mr. Hirt has been seen in many moont occurs in this photoplay when he battles with and vanquishes gang leader portrayed by Thomas Santchl. This Is only one of many exciting scenes that make "The Cradle of Courage" the equal of The Toll Cute" which Mr. Hart deemed his best picture to date, it is a complete departure from his re cent western dramas, but it is none the less effective on that account. The support is strong in every re- Jspect. Ann Little plays opposite the star. Appearing to excellent advantage In his latets Paramount production. William S. Hart has reached an em phatic success In "The Cradle of Courage" which is. now on view at the theatre. The big audiences dai ly greet the picture with marked ap proval and It has been voted as one of the best in whieh Mr. Hart has been seen in many months. $ The Elite of Washington society forms the background for "The Wonder Man", the Robertson-Cole Btiperspeclal picture, starring Geor ges Carpentier, idol ot France and Kuropean heavyweight champion, which will show at the Liberty Theatre tonight. This unusual drama of American society, directed by John G. Adolfi, for Robertson-Cole, promises a reve lation in motion pictures of the new er and better sort. If unfounded, always leads to unjust accusations. Hard words are bound to follow and the first serious quarrel Is the result. The quarrel usually Is made up, and many after that are made up. but the memory of the unkind words linger and It Is seldom that a mar riage remains one of happiness once Jealousy has entered the mind of either the husband or the wife. The man who Is continually scolded by his wife about absences will seek his solace from some other woman, or else will take up his home some where apart from his wife. A Jeal ous husband will drive his wife Into Ihe very actions' he Is fearful of. merely through a desire on her pari for association with the other sex without a continual quarrel. Jealousy, however, has It numer ous side to those not affected. In nocent escapades or predicaments hlch cause friction between mar ried couples furnishes most humor of the world, and it Is a delightful humor as Marshall Netlan shows In his latest production for the screen Don't Ever Marry". It is the storv of the happenings which take place wiimn tweniy-iour nours after a secret marriage when for reasons known to themselves, two other women ciatm tne young groom as their lawfully wedded husband. The fun happens fust and furious from the opening scene to the end where tranquility Is once more re stored. "Don't Ever Marry" will be he attraction at the Majestic Thea tre for the last time tonight. o . Resemble Two Peas in a Pod JOLTS BY JEltltV.
