A unique advertising scheme was
used by Manager Hill, of the Antlers
and Majestic theaters this afternoon
for the picture, "What's Your
Hurry," with Wallace Reid, to be
shown at the Majestic theater to
night. Four large trucks covered
with placards were driven through
the streets sevoral times, the picture
being announced by an employe of
the theater In the foremost truck.

mate of the Canadian grain crops for
120 Issued today by t he dominion
bureau of statistics showed that Can-
adu should have 100,000.000 bushels
of wheat for export In excess of last
year.
All other grains showed big In
creases over the crop of the preced
ing year.
The bureau s estimate of the wheat
crop Is 203,361,000 bushels, against
193,260,000 bushels last year. This
Is some 4,000,000 bushels lurger
than the estimate two months ago.
The bureau's estimate of other
field crops follows: Oats 543,000,000
bushels against 494.000,000 las
year; barley 65,000.000 bushels
against 56.000.000 bushels last year
and flax 10,076.000 bushels against
5.472.000 bushels last year.

gence, uuskillfulness and violation of
pilot rules against Captain H. A. Ilig
gins, master of the steamer Cape
Fenr. which sank In Narraganaett
bay Friday night with the loss of 17
lives, utter colliding with the steam
ship City of Atlanta of the Savannah
line.

permitted the pilot to leave the ship
while she was in Narraganaett bay.

mountains near here. Jack Casey.
Jack Mulone and aman named Kay
suspected of making illicit liquor,
were arrested.
Whisky was being made at the
Oroflno mines, about 15 miles from
here. Three miles were over moun
tain traits. About two gallons of the
finished product was seized and 50
gallons of prune and grape mash
was thrown out. The liquor is being
held as evidence against the men.
