Meet Wednesday
On next Wednesday afternoon at

court room In the Douglas National
bank building, will be held the an
nual meeting for the election, of offi
cers for Douglas county chapter ot
the Red Cross.
This is an open meeting and If you
are Interested in this work you are
invited. A chairman for the fourth
lied Cross roll call must be named
and a Dlan determined upon for put
ting on this membership renewal.
Only one dollar is asked tor a
year's membership and 60 cents of
every dollar paid in by Douglas
county people remains in our county
to be used for immediate relief worn.

for the terrible epidemic of Influ

Additional funds will no doubt be
required again this winter. By re
