state. Miss Hair has been acting
as one of the special field Investi-
fators of the Oregou State Survey; Dr. Carlisle, director or. the survey
of Mental Defect, Delinquency and
Dependency which the United States
Public Health Service is directing
for the University at Oregon at the
request of the legislature. The
facts concerning the Insane In the
eastern part of the state were con
tributed by Dr. Wilson D. McNary,
superintendent of the Eastern Ore
gon state Hospital at Pendleton.
