the expenditure of the special court
house (fund pending a decision on
the appeal In the case of the J. M.
Dougan company vs. Klamath coun
ty, was Issued by the Oregon su
preme court here today. Appeal
from the decree of Judge Hamilton
who found In favor of the Klamath
county officials and the Hut Springs
court house site, was filed nl the
supreme court Thursday by J. M.
Dougan Company which Is suing
for collection of the (final payment
on the court house which It has
constructed on the old court house
square In the heart of Klamath
Kails. Arguments on the injunction
proceedings will be heard by the
supreme court October 1.

1930. Notice Is hereby given that
subject to the conditions and limita
tions of the Act of June 9, 1916
(39 Stat.. 218), and the instruc
tions of the. Secretary of the Inter
tor of September 15, 1917, the tim
ber on the following lands will be
raid August 23, 1920. at 10 o'clock
a. m., at public auction at the Unit
ed States land office at Roseburg,
Oregon, to the highest bidder at not
less than the appraised value as
shown by this notice, sale to be sub
ject to the approval of the Secretary
of the Interior. The purchase price
with an additional sum of one-fifth
of one per cent thereof, being
commissions allowed, must be
deposited at time of sale, money to
be returned If sale Is not approved,
otherwise patent will issue for the
timber which must be removed
within ten years. Bids will be re
ceived from citizens of the United
8talps, associations of such citizens
and corporations organized under
ihe laws of the United States or any
state, territory or district thereof
only. Upon application of a quali
fied purchaser, the timber on any
legal subdivision will be offered,
