Frank B. Wood and wife, of Port
land, drove down In their Chevrolet
Saturday visiting at the home of
relatives over the fourth. They re
turned to Portland Monday. They
report the roads to be very rough.

suite of rooms at one of the lead
ing Salem hotels and will make their
headquarters there during the Blks
convention to start July 22. A large
