least shortly after the breakfast

noboby was paying attention to
time, much less the crowd every
body migrated to the courthouse
lawn where tho queen crowning was
held. This was a very pleasing
event' and Queen Marie and her
maids and everybody el.se on the
platform looked qui'e beautiful,
with the exception of the masculine
Ciement. which, however, was im
posing enough in all the robes pro
vided to convince even the most
skeptical that a monarchy is worlh
trying for at least three days.

The platform on which the crown

of flowers, and a huge flower laden

Several numbers were played by the
O. A. C. bund, and then down the
aisle, lined on each side with gallant
Hoy Scouts, and carpeted with rugs,
came King Solomon, the famous

tery, and conducted by Harold Hol
lows as the herald. The prime min

To precede the queen and to sym
bolize the joy and gayety or her rule,
were six little girls gowned in white,
who danced a merry liule dance full

berry carnival, and then strewing
her path with roses, they led Queen
Marie to her place In front of the
