Problems confronting the auto motive dealers are more numerous and serious now than they were dur ing the war when the war trade lioard classified the automobile as a non-essential and seriously consid ered closing up dealers' establish ments, says Mr. Magner. St. Paul lightweight. fought a six-round draw with Muff Bronson, of Portland. Kid Meeker and Henry Krieger, Portland welterweights, fought a four-round draw. RIGHTS OF WAY SETTLED. County Judge D. J. Stewart and Commissioner Edwin Weaver re turned last night from Leon a and vicinity where they have been ob taining rights of way for the Pacific highway. Satisfactory settlements have been tnsde with all property owners and the warrants will be drawn as soon as the options are ap proved by the county court which meets tbe first of the month. George W. Riddle, of Riddle, ar rived in Roseburg this afternoon to spend a short time attending to busi ness matters. Justice of tbe Peace I. B. Riddle, candidate for the position of county clerk, returned yesterday from Port land, where he attended the funeral of his mother-in-law, Mrs. S. C. Sim mons.
