Vancouver, It was announced recent
ly. The provisional government
turned over $300,000 to the city to
he used as a revolving fund for the
construction of the homes. The fund
waa obtained by tbe province from
tbe Dominion government, under th
soldier' housing act.
Most of the homes are modern,
five-room dwellings, to eost the for
mer soldier approximately 13750, In
cluding the lot. Payments are make
