the league of nations was given out

The league of nations is founded
in order to promote iniernational co
operation and to secure peace. The
league, will include: t A I - The bel
ligerent states named in a document
annexed to the covenant; till All
ihe neutral states so named, ami (('(

country whose admission is approved
by two-lhirds of the stales already
members of the league. A alaie may
wilh draxv from the league, provid

The league will act through an
assembly comprising not more than
three representatives of each of the
member stales, each state, however,
Inning only one vote and a council
comprising, for the present, tine rep
resentative of each of the five great
