totalled 820 names. These Included
182 killed in action, 05 missing in
action, 370 wounded severely, two
wounded slightly, 124 died from
wounds, 58 died of disease, : died

1 .Six Oregon men were included in
the lists: Robert A. Sherwood, of
Portland, and Chas. W. Jensen, of
Carlton, being killed In action; Fred
K. Aune, of Dayton, and Herbert 11.

wounds; Frank T. Clark, of Tort
land, and Win. J. Ilerg, of Astoria,

"For the past eighteen years my
wife was a sufferer from rheumali.-m

she would lie for two or three weeks

was drawn up and twisted so with

she had no uppetile, and although
she was just as careful as she could
be about her dieting, her food would

and her rest was so broken at nigi'it
that she could hardly sleep. Her
arms and throat appeared to bo
withered, the skin soft and flabby,
and she was just about as miserable
as anybody ever gets to be. For
years she had been too weak and ail
ing to do any of her housework, and
what time she wasn't in bed she was
barely able to get around.
"I consulted specialists about her
case but she could give me no hope,
and I took her to one of Ihe most
celebrated health resorts in (lie coun
try, hoping she would be benefitted
through drinking the water, but it
seemed to do her no good. Then
she tried all kinds of medicines, but
not till she started taking Tanlac did
she find any relief whatever. After
; taking a few bottles of this wonder-
ful medicine we are prepared to say
'that Tanlac is the only thing we have
I any faith In. Her last attack of
! rheumatism was all ot" two months
