The British steamer Neilrose res cued the crew, and fired twice at the periscope of the submarine. The submarine fired two torpedoes lit the Neilrose, but missed. Menage at Pettcuiiad. WASHINGTON, June 4 Presi dent Wilson's message stating his war aims has reached 1'etrograd, and was presented to the provisional gov ernment. Publication of the message is withheld temporarily. On a gravel bar projecting to wards the center of the North Pnip qua Kiver, about one and a half miles below Hie spot where the man wait last seen alive, the body of Narcisse Gervais, who was drowned three, miles above Winchester 2S days be fore, was recovered by searchers at 8 o'clock Sunday morning. One of the discoverers of the body was Ike Gervais. the drowned man's brother, who with a party of helpers had been patrolling 1 he river bank nearly every day since the tragedy, when Narcitise Gervais ami Stephen Short were spilled in midstream from their boat.
